Description: 

The purpose of the $1000 Doc is to showcase 1 or 2 aspects of the individual and what reflects who they are and what they do.  Keep in mind that this would be a good product to share with others who don’t know you very well.  Something good for your grandchildren or relatives who may not know the real you.  We will also take some still photographs for posterities sake.  (You get digital copies of the photographs as well.)  Basically it's all about capturing a day in the life of you, the star of your own Documentary from a seasoned professional.  

 

 

What You Get:

It would be a 2-3 location shoot.  Interview at your home and 1 or 2 locations showcasing where you work, volunteer or some place special to you.  The $1000 fee covers equipment rental, editing, all post-production work, and travel in the local area.  (Phoenix Metro West Valley).  Additional travel available for a fee.  

 

 

Estimated Hours: 

Shooting:  (1-2 days of location shooting)

Editing and Authoring:  (2-3 days of Editing) 

 

 

Additional Information: 

If customer provides 5-10 Photographs we can incorporate them into the final product.  Expected delivery time is 3-4 weeks. 

 

 

Final Product: 

  • 5-7 Minute Final Product
  • 1 Authored DVD.  (Additional $10, Blu-Ray for $20)
  • Online Posting.  (Email Link to Friends and Family)
  • 2 Free Hours of Re-Editing after Viewing 1st Draft.  (Additional Editing $20 Per Hour)

 

 

*MILVID Award Definition:

 

Military Videographer of the Year Competition (MILVID), is open to all Military Enlisted Personnel of the five Armed Services holding the job of journalist, videographer, broadcaster or equivalent.  MILVID is designed to recognize, reward and promote excellence among military content creators for their achievements in furthering the objectives of military media. This program operates under the aegis of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs (OASD(PA)) and is administered by the Commandant of the Defense Information School (DINFOS), with cooperation from national and local professional organizations.
